This catalog accompanies the New Museum's exhibition Songs for Sabotage. "Songs for Sabotage" is the fourth edition of the New Museum Triennial, a signature exhibition devoted to emerging artists from around the world. This exhibit is a collection of works by twenty-six artists, collectives and artist groups from across the globe whose works prompt a call to action in response to this politically tenuous time, defined as it is by conditions of systemic injustice, hyper-capitalism, and networked mediascapes. These artists offer models for dismantling and replacing the various systems of power that envelop today's global youth.
