The curators for this year’s exhibition are gallery Director Leigh Conner and Assistant Director Karyn Miller. As in previous years, the curators kept pace with a rigorous January to June BFA / MFA exhibition schedule, attending each exhibition and following up with studio visits. After viewing the works in person and talking to the artists about their ideas, the curators brought together a profile of area art programs in order to present a vital survey of the concepts and aesthetics prevalent in the Washington/Baltimore area schools.
The exhibition opens Friday, August 4th with a reception for the artists from 6 - 8 pm.
